1. According to the rules of Taiwan Ministry of Education, students who have visa for studying Chinese purpose should take at least 15 hours of Chinese classes per week. Students must also continuously enroll in Mandarin language courses without interruption.

2. If your visa is not visa for studying Chinese purpose, you can take less than 15 hours of classes per week, which charges NTD 200 per hour. The class hours you choose should be at least four hours a week, and total class hours must be more than 30 hours or pay for one term.

3. There will be no class on national holidays or when the government (Directorate-General of Personnel Administration,Executive Yuan) announces a suspension of work and classes, but make-up classes will be needed.

The make-up classes might not necessarily be conducted as sit-in classes. The way for make-up classes might be online classes, assignment submissions, presentations, etc. Please follow the announcements made by your instructors for further guidance.

4. We reserve the right to cancel the course and student’s application in our absolute discretion.

*Each class is 1 hour, including 50 minute class time and 10 minute break time.
*The registration fee, textbooks and other study materials fee, and insurance fee are not included in the tuition fee. Please visit the website to know more other fees.

*National Immigration Agency will grant students permitted period of residence according to the course schedule. We strongly suggest you do NOT buy the return flight ticket until your expiration date has been approved by National Immigration Agency.

*Students who are planning to apply for a visa for studying Chinese purpose are not eligible to apply for Summer Session II and Summer Session III. (Huayu Enrichment Scholarship applicants can apply for it.)
