1. 語文中心所開設之華語學分課程，為國立彰化師範大學正式學分課程，僅限在學之國際學生或僑生選修。
2. 華語課程之成績，均計入當學期學業平均成績，惟修習學分是否計入畢業學分，由學生所屬系所認定。
3. 國際生若非以中文為母語或其第二語言為中文者，得經語文中心評估檢測後修習指定適級程度之華語課程，藉以取得通識語文教育課程國文以及精進英外文第二外語課群之學分。
4. 語文中心所開設之華語課程均為選修，課程(一)、(二)未有擋修之限制，未修習課程(一)之國際學生，經語文中心評估檢測後，仍能修習課程(二)。
